At the moment, there are more than 153 modern empik stores operating all over Poland (data from 31/03/2010). Stores have different floor areas: from 250m2 (partnership stores) up to even 4000m2. They most often have an excellent localisation being situated in the busiest city points and most popular shopping centres.
All major Polish cities already have their own empik store. But our goal is to offer easy access to culture, knowledge and entertainment products to everyone. Therefore, we are expanding our network to smaller cities and little towns as well (also through opening partnership stores).
An important element of empik’s expansion policy is actively taking part in revitalisation of city centres – we always do our best to turn new empik stores into friendly places, to make them part of the urban space and a city’s showpiece.
